Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river at the age of 30. Who was He? He was called the son of Joseph, the carpenter of Nazareth. His mother's name was Mary, a relative of the mother of John the Baptist. His parents could tell some wonderful things about the divine happenings which surrounded His birth.

Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph when she found herself pregnant before they had been together... How did this happen? One Sabbath day, Mary's parents return home from the synagogue. ...according to the prophecy of Daniel it should happen now, at this time! You know the promise of the prophet Daniel! The angel Gabriel told him about the Birth of the Messiah.

I wonder if we shall experience that great day. believe it because... Mary, go and fetch the lamp-oil and food for the meal, please... Suddenly... Rejoice, Mary! You are highly favored by God! Fear not, Mary! You will be with child and give birth to a son and you are to- call him: Jesus.

He is the Messiah! What's happening? What are these greetings? Can it be that this is a message from heaven?
